Nxabega Concession
Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp has a lovely situation overlooking a shallow channel.
There are ten tents, spaced well apart in the riverine forest. Inside, there are beds with large duvets, desks with porcupine-quill lamps and big white candles for lighting at night. The en suite bathrooms are open-air and sometimes visited by the vervet monkeys.
Food is particularly good at Nxabega with dining either under a big candelabra or outside under the stars.
Whilst game drives are possible it’s the boat and mokoro trips that are the highlights of a stay here. With an expert guide, you will explore the Xou Lagoon, and there’s even the chance to try a spot of fishing.
