Day 1London

Fly from London to Johannesburg overnight

Day 2Johannesburg & Pretoria - Livingstone & Victoria Falls - Chobe National Park

Today you will be transferred into the heart of Chobe National Park to your camp. This afternoon you can enjoy a game drive or perhaps a boat cruise on the chobe river.

Day 3Chobe National Park

A full day to explore Chobe with your guide. At this time of year herds of elephants are found drinking along the waterfront or wallowing in the shallows. On an afternoon boat cruise you are likely to see a large number of hippo pods and crocodiles. Along the banks of the river bird life is prolific and fish eagles are regularly sighted.

Day 4Kasane - Shinde Concession

You will be driven back to Kasane for your light aircraft flight to Shinde Concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. You will be staying for three nights at Shinde Camp. Enjoy an afternoon/evening safari activity.

Day 5Shinde Concession

Shinde has a superb balance of habitats and it is possible to go on game drives, boating trips into the Moremi Reserve and mokoro outings. The game is wonderful with the Shinde lion pride often seen as well as large herds of buffalo in the dry season. There are some wide open plains and small pockets of forest on the fringes of the delta channels, full of interesting wildlife to be seen.

Day 6Shinde Concession

Another day to enjoy the wildlife in the Shinde Concession; view the many red hartebeest on the plains whilst an elephant walks by or sit back on a boat trip, skirting through the papyrus reed and enjoying the birdlife.

Day 7Shinde Concession - Nxabega Concession

After the morning activity, you will be returned to the airstrip for a flight across Chiefs Island in the heart of the delta, to the Nxabega Concession in the south west reaches. You will be picked up and driven the short distance to Kanana Camp for a three night stay.

Day 8Nxabega Concession

Another day of activities in Kanana, either short drives or boat trips into the delta, enjoying game as well as a spot of birding. Relax at the lodge itself and sit by the campfire at the end of the day as the sun sets across the water.

Day 10Nxabega Concession - Maun - Johannesburg & Pretoria

After the morning activities you will be taken by light aircraft to Maun for your international flight to Johannesburg. Here you will catch your overnight flight home
