This itinerary offers a chance to experience the full range of Botswana's treasures.
It starts in the capital Gabarone, with a tour of the locations that inspired writer Alexander McCall's famous No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency novel. The places visited include Mma Ramotswe's house in Zebra drive, her ancestral home in Mochudi and JLB Matekoni's House.
From Gabarone you fly to the Chobe National Park for three days of safari activities from the Chobe Safari Lodge. Activities in Chobe focus around the Chobe River where herds of elephants come to drink, large hippo pods wallow and all kinds of birdlife and plains game can be seen.
The trip continues with two nights at Pom Pom camp which is located in a private concession in the Okavango Delta. From here you will be taken on game drives to discover the wildlife in this beautiful area and you will experience mokoro boat trips in the reed lined channels of the Delta.
Finally you will discover the contrasting scenery of the dry Kalahari Desert where you can track the elusive desert rhino on foot and the watch the wildlife that comes to the waterhole at Edo's Camp.
