Set amongst the shady trees and waterways of the Okavango Delta, the small and intimate Baines' Camp has just five luxurious suites set on elevated platforms. The trees surround the chalets and the large wooden decks offer expansive views over the permanent water of the Mboro River and a lagoon teeming with life. The elevated suites feature a spacious bedroom, with softly draped fabrics, polished wooden floors and spacious en suite bathrooms. The four-poster beds are fully mobile, giving you the choice of sleeping directly under the stars. This exclusive lodge is named after famed nineteenth century explorer and artist, Sir Thomas Baines. The inspiration for Baine's paintings is evident when looking at the waterscape that lies beyond the lodge. The main area features a spacious deck for outdoor dining and views over the permanent water of the lagoon, as well as swimming pool for cooling off in the heat of the day and enjoying a little sunbathing.
