Safari wildlife of Gabon
Gabon has an 800 kilometres of coastline, swamps, lakes, mountain plateaus and the tropical rainforest which covers 80% of the country.
Some of Gabon’s wildlife highlights include the thriving population of lowland gorillas, troops of mandrills and other primates. Please note that the gorillas in Gabon are truly wild and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Forest elephant and buffalo can be seen at all times of year, turtles nest from October to January and humpback whales can be seen offshore from mid-July to mid-September.
