Accommodation in
Kenyas Coastline,
Kenya

Diani House is a coastal taste of colonial Kenya. Located about halfway along Diani Beach, this lovely home with grassy slopes rolling down to the beach is a nostalgic reminder of what the Kenyan coast was like before any resort hotels were built. Sitting on the veranda with the dogs at your feet you feel transported back in time.
When staying at Diani House you will be hosted by Annelise (Lulu) Archer and John Clarke who are very welcoming and will help you arrange whatever activity you choose. They have a boat for fishing, snorkelling or visiting nearby islands. Side trips to the Shimba Hills National Reserve for game viewing or into Mombasa for shopping or sightseeing can easily be arranged.
Diani House has four rooms which are spacious and simple. They are all individual, decorated with Kenya furniture and fabrics. There are bookshelves piled with books and scattered rugs on the floors - this is somewhere you really feel at home. There are ceiling fans (no a/c) and windows are mesh rather than glass to allow for a breeze. Outside the garden is a delight – five hectares of palms, baobabs and bougainvillea. There are colobus monkeys in the trees and a profusion of small birds. Really, it doesn't get much better than this.
