Hotel Vanila is located by the sea, on the north-western part of Nosy Be and faces the island of Sakatia, the 'Orchid Island'. The hotel has forty rooms made up of 17 garden rooms with private terrace, 18 sea-view rooms with private terrace or balconies, four family rooms (each being able to accommodate two extra beds) and two suites which have all modern conveniences including a mini hi-fi, DVD player and Jacuzzi on the balcony. Each of the rooms and suites are equipped with a bathroom with hot water, a separate WC, satellite television, telephone, hair drier, overhead fans and air conditioning. The hotel has two restaurants, the main restaurant Parfum Vanille where buffet breakfasts are served. The second restaurant, the Grill du Sol is located overlooking the sea and offers light meals at lunchtime and a la carte dining in the evening.
Other facilities at the hotel include two pools, a mini library, a video lounge and pool table. Massages can be arranged as can activities such as snorkelling, diving and island excursions for an extra cost.
