Places to See and Stay: Mvuu Camp - Liwonde National Park

Mvuu Camp is also located on the banks of the Shire River. There is a pod of hippos near the camp and their splashing and occasional grunting provides a great background noise to camp! The camp is an ideal option for families and larger groups with simple but comfortable en suite accommodation in chalets and rondavels. The camp has a central dining and bar area and large swimming pool. As with the lodge, activities include walks, game drives and boating. The camp is close to the rhino sanctuary and thus a great base from which to search for these animals.
