The Pemba Beach Hotel is a large hotel situated on Wimbe Beach and surrounded by wide green lawns and palm trees. Entering the hotel you walk through imposing studded Zanzibari doors. There are high arches, open courtyards and the feel is quite Arabic. Arrive in the evening and the sound of the quelea birds is overpowering as they come to drink from the waters of the courtyard. The hotel currently has 62 rooms, eight self catering villas and a further 40 rooms are currently undergoing construction. The rooms are in two story blocks and all face the sea. Each room has double or twin beds, en suite bathrooms and balcony or terrace. There is every modern comfort provided including air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, minibar and satellite televisions. The hotel is set in lovely gardens.

Pemba Beach Hotel now has its own health & beauty spa with various massage and beauty treatments available. There is also a large pool for the private use of guests and at Club Naval, the watersports centre, a further pool for guests and the paying public. Further facilities at Club Naval include an excellent fishing centre, dive centre, floodlit tennis court and watersports centre. Finally, the hotel has a bar, restaurant and pool bar. The views in the morning are stunning as the sun rises over the Indian Ocean in front of you.
