Driving around Namibia is a fantastic way to experience this country. The perfect combination of outstanding wildlife and awe inspiring scenery.

Namibia is a country of vast blue skies and endless horizons. It contains one of the world’s oldest deserts, its highest dunes and second largest canyon.
In the north of the country Etosha’s silvery pan and surrounding plains teem with game. There are floodlit waterholes where you can sit at night and watch as elephant, rhino and giraffe come to drink, appearing silently out of the black night. Damaraland’s desert-adapted elephant and endangered black rhino roam freely and can be tracked on foot and open 4WD’s. There are remote tented camps here, perching on plains and with views of endless wilderness. Flying along the Skeleton Coast you will find beaches littered with whale bones, roaring dunes, skeletal shipwrecks and flocks of pelicans and flamingos. You can kayak amongst hundred-strong seal colonies and trace the tracks of jackals across the damp sand. And then finally, in the south, perhaps the most spectacular scenery is found.
Climbing a dune at Sossusvlei to watch the sunrise it’s easy to see why Namibia is a photographer’s dream. The dunes are enchanting, totally unspoilt, and best of all you have them all to yourself.
