Tailor Made Holidays in Zambia: In the News

Zambia offers varied choice for Safari lovers: 04-01-2008

Elephant in the Zambezi RiverTravellers looking for a different type of African safari should head to Zambia to see how its lakes are teeming with life.

Lake Tanganyika is not only the longest lake in the world but is also the second deepest and is filled with brightly coloured fish. Anglers can enjoy tiger fishing on the lake while scuba diving and snorkelling provides a window into the world beneath the surface.

November and March are the best months to go angling but miss these months and the lakeside is still action-packed as animals come to drink from at the water's edge.

Close by is the Sumbu National Park, which contains many antelope and buffalo as well as elephants, and the Kalambo Falls, which are the second highest falls in Africa, plunging from a height of 221 metres.
