Kicheche Laikipia
Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Kicheche Laikipia has just six luxurious tents nestled at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a small waterhole in the centre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
There is a communal area under canvas with a large interconnected lounge/ dining tent. In the lounge comfortable sofas are set around a big fireplace which is always blazing during the cooler winter months.
Food is excellent at camp as all the vegetables and meat are sourced locally from the surrounding farms. Breakfast and lunch are usually taken alfresco and evening meals within the dining tent. Picnic breakfasts and lunches are also available on game driving excursions.
There are plenty of diverse activities to chose from at Kicheche Laikipia. Day and night drives explore the reserve, game walks are permitted on the conservancy and guests can also participate in the lion tracking and research programme. Horse-riding is possible on the fringes of the reserve and guests to the chimpanzee sanctuary can also be arranged.
