Kicheche Mara Camp
Masai Mara National Reserve
Kicheche Mara Camp is located in a quiet spot in the Greater Mara Conservation Area.
It is a simple but beautiful small tented camp, located under trees surrounded by huge savannah grasslands. During the migration months (June to October) the plains are covered in wildebeest. From camp you can both see and hear them, most of the hours of the day.
Kicheche camp itself has the feel of a mobile camp. There are a dozen tents, some with views of the savannah, some looking towards the centre of camp. Each tent is comfortable and has double or twin beds and an en suite bathroom. There is a small dining tent, although nearly all meals are mostly eaten outside underneath the trees. Finally, a small living room has deep chairs and sofas and a number of interesting reference books.
Activities from Kicheche focus on game drives and the guides are some of the best in the Mara.
