Recommended parks & reserves to visit during green season

1 Amboseli National Park

With large herds of elephants and the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro, this is a beautiful national park. During the dry season (June - October), however, it can be very busy, dry and dusty, so we tend to avoid sending clients here. But in the green season it's far more peaceful and you can enjoy the wildlife to yourselves!

3 Masai Mara National Reserve

Whatever the time of year, you can be assured of some fantastic wildlife in the Mara, with the big cats, large herds of elephants, hippos wallowing in the mud to name a few. The rains bring fresh grazing to the plains game, which in turn provide plentiful fodder for the big cats, making this a really exciting time to visit!

The green season breathes life into Ol Pejeta Conservancy after a long dry season, with blankets of verdant greens and lovely wild flowers.
