Day 1London
You will fly overnight from London to Nairobi and then switch onto a flight to Madagascar.
On arrival you will clear immigration and customs and will then be taken to a nearby hotel.
Today you will be met by your driver and guide who will collect you from your hotel and drive you through the countryside from Tana to Andasibe. You will have the rest of your day at leisure. During your stay you may like to enjoy a nocturnal walk, watching out for the tiny mouse lemurs.
A full day to explore Perinet. Today you may wish to spend exploring the Perinet reserve, perhaps visiting the indri in the morning as well as the other lemur species found in this area. In the afternoon you may want to explore the park further looking out for the numerous reptiles found here and wandering through the wonderful vegetation that this park is home to.
Today you will head out in the morning to explore the park in search of the indri, the largest lemur species. The indri have a very distinctive haunting cry, that you can hear in the early mornings, listen out for it as you walk and hike through the forest.
Today you will have the opportunity to venture into Mantadia National Park, here you will find beautiful untouched forest and numerous types of lemur. Make sure you wear good walking shoes for this walk as the trails can be a little more difficult.
Today you have the opportunity to head back into Andasibe with your guide. There are a number of different walks you can take so there is no danger of repeating yourself. I would also suggest you head to Indri Island. Although the lemurs here are not wild it gives you a wonderful opportunity to see these incredible animals close up.
Today you will drive back to Tana where you will have the opportunity to explore with your driver.
Today you will fly across to Ile St Marie and then be transferred to Princesse Bora. This is a stunning lodge located on a ridge overlooking the beach and is the perfect place to relax for a few days
