You will fly to Paris today and connect with your onward flight to Madagascar arriving late this evening. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your near by hotel.
After breakfast you will be met by your driver and guide who will collect you from your hotel and drive you through the countryside from Tana to Andasibe. You will have the rest of your day at leisure. During your stay I have suggested you may like to spend an evening enjoying a night walk in Mitsinjo reserve, here you are likely to find tiny mouse lemurs, dwarf lemurs and lots of frogs as well as more weird and wonderful nocturnal wildlife.
Today you will explore Andasibe with your guide. You may like to head out early in search of the indri, walking through the park and hearing them call. The walking in the park is lovely, and the forest beautiful. The birdlife in Andasibe is also fantastic and well worth looking out for.
Today you can explore Mantadia national park, which is about a 45 minute drive from Andasibe. Here there are different species of lemur, such as the red bellied lemur.
This morning you can visit Lemur Island which is a small private reserve, although not wild this is a great place for getting up close photographs.
You will then head back to the capital for the evening.
Day 6Antananarivo - Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) - Joffreville (Ambohitra)
You will leave Antananarivo today and fly north to Diego Suarez. You will be collected at the airport by your guide and be driven to Joffreville. Here you will stay for three nights. This evening you may like to enjoy a nocturnal walk searching for the tiny mouse lemurs and sportive lemurs in the area.
Day 7Amber Mountain National Park (Montagne D'Ambre) - Joffreville (Ambohitra)
A full day for you to explore the park. Today you may like to search further into the park perhaps looking for reptiles and birds. Make sure you ask your guide to show you the smallest chameleons on earth - they are amazing!
Today you will leave Amber Mountain and head towards Ankarana special reserve, driving through some stunning scenery along the way. Upon arrival at Ankarana, after some relaxation at your hotel you may wish to take an afternoon stroll with your guide to start to explore this very unusual but fantastic park. Visiting the dramatic limestone Tsingy, spotting lots of wildlife and then heading to explore the sacred bat caves all before dinner at your hotel.
You will have a full day to explore Ankarana today. The park has plenty to offer with lots of crowned lemurs to be found and the cute ring-tailed mongooses.
This morning you will be able to enjoy another walk in the Ankarana before driving to the small port of Ankify. From here you will catch a boat across to Nosy Komba, before enjoying dinner on the beautiful terrace.
Today you may want to explore some of the private islands and beaches around Nosy Komba, there are some great snorkelling opportunities here. The island is beautiful with small granite boulder coves shouldering white sandy beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. If you fancy exploring the island there are lots of handicrafts for sale as well as the opportunity to visit some very tame lemurs.
We recommend visiting Nosy Tanikely during your stay on the coast. This small island is a boat trip away and is home to a marine reserve, where you can snorkel. Turtles are often seen here as well as lots of beautiful colourful fish. On Nosy Tanikely you can enjoy the white sandy beach and its resident black lemurs, if you are feeling adventurous can explore the small island on foot.
Free time to relax on Nosy Komba. There is plenty to do if you wish around the island or you may like to just relax and enjoy the lovely beach.
Today if you are feeling adventurous you may like to explore the island on foot and head into the hills looking for the black lemurs found on the island. This evening you may wish to relax on the beautiful terrace enjoying watching the sun set over the ocean.
You will leave Nosy Komba today and catch a boat back to Nosy Be. From here you will fly to Antananarivo before catching your overnight flight back to Paris.

You will land in Paris this morning before catching your onward flight to the UK.
