Set in lush tropical gardens along a kilometre of beach and overlooking a sheltered lagoon on Mauritius' east coast, The Residence is elegant, sophisticated and yet friendly and welcoming.

There are 171 rooms and suites situated in modern three-story buildings above the beach. All the rooms are luxurious, stylish and very comfortable. All are furnished in cool, calming colours and have big beds, cool stone floors, TV, telephone, air-conditioning, shuttered windows, large balconies and very large marble en-suite bathrooms with bathtub and shower. Each room has a private butler service.

The Residence prides itself on exclusivity, luxury and pampering and it succeeds. There is a lovely spa which offers a variety of soothing and relaxing treatments. A fitness room and large swimming pool are available for the more active, as are a wide variety of watersports (windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing) and tennis courts.

There are three superb restaurants to choose from with a choice of Creole, French and international cuisine.

Finally, after a superb three course dinner you can make your way to the bar to enjoy the Jazz trio and a nightcap or two.
