Accommodation in Mauritius: The Residence

Architecturally, this is the most impressive hotel on the island. The spacious, beautifully built building is lovely to relax in and the airy pool bar is fantastic.

Activities, Sports & Relaxation

There is a large swimming pool with Jacuzzi as well as smaller children's pool.

Complimentary watersports that provided at The Residence include water skiing, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, paddle boats and glass bottom boat trips. Watersports that can be arranged for an extra charge include deep sea fishing, catamaran cruises and scuba diving.

For those that enjoy land sports facilities include three floodlit tennis courts, aerobics lessons, volley ball and use of the fitness equipments, steam room and sauna.

The Residence has a beautiful spa, The Sanctuary, located in the tropical gardens overlooking the lagoon. It is open from 8am to 8pm and has nine treatment rooms. Guests can book a massage or beauty treatment, or book a complete programme for the ultimate in pampering.

Diving

There is a dive centre located at the yacht club on the hotel grounds. Dive packages can also be booked for three, five or ten dives and night dives are also possible.

PADI courses are done at the dive centre at the Belle Mare Plage hotel, 15 minutes away.
