Architecturally, this is the most impressive hotel on the island. The spacious, beautifully built building is lovely to relax in and the airy pool bar is fantastic.

Couples on their honeymoon will also receive an exotic fresh fruit bowl and bottle of champagne in room on arrival as well as a beach bag, sarong, t-shirt and set of five postcards.

Families

The Planters Kids Club, inspired by a sugar-cane plantation house, is a 400 m2 space dedicated to the children's club.

Children from three to 12 can enjoy the cool of the house of the playgrounds in the surrounding gardens from 9am to 10pm. Activities include treasure hunts, snorkelling lessons, sports competitions, body painting, hikes and picnics, glass-bottom boat tours, theme days, pony rides and more. The kids club also offers evening entertainment such as fashion shows, plays and films. For an extra charge children can eat in the kids club which offers a wide assortment of dishes and even has pizza making in the small baking ovens.

A day nursery as well as baby-sitting service is also available for around ten euros an hour. Children up to 12 can also share a room with their parents and cots can be put into the rooms for babies.
