Evening flight to Johannesburg
Arrive at Johannesburg airport. Collect your luggage and make your way through customs. You will need to recheck your bags at the Federal Air desk and then make your way through passport control into the departure. You will have some free time for breakfast/coffee before your flight onto Beira.
On arrival in Beira you will be met by a representative from Explore Gorongosa, you will be transferred by road to your camp, this will take approximately 3 hours.
On safari in Gorongosa National Park, today you will have the option of taking both a morning and afternoon activity. Normally the activities will start at around 6am - you will then return mid morning for lunch and siesta before going out again in the afternoon.
On safari in Gorongosa National Park. Enjoy wilderness walks and fantastic game drives, perhaps even visit Mount Gorongosa for sundowner drinks.
This morning you will transfer from Gorongosa National Park to Beira town and the Hotel Tivoli for your overnight stop before your flight to Nampula.
Today you will be transferred to Beira airport for you onward flight to Nampula. On arrival in Nampula you will be met by a representative from Nuarro Lodge and transferred to your accommodation. This transfer takes approximately 4 hours and is a really interesting drive taking in local towns and villages and some wonderful scenery.
Day at leisure at Nuarro Lodge, relax on the pristine white sand beach, perhaps try some off shore snorkelling or diving today.
Day at leisure at Nuarro Lodge, perhaps take a bicycle ride out to the nearby village, meet the local people and see what projects are taking place continue your way to the light house at Baixo de Pinda for some wonderful views across the bay.
Day at leisure at Nuarro Lodge. Kayaks are available to take into the mangroves and out to sea. Maybe finish your time off here with a sundowner dhow cruise.
An early start this morning for your transfer to Pemba airport (5 hour drive) for your flight to Johannesburg and onward flight home to London.
