Ongava Lodge

Etosha National Park

Ongava Lodge is situated on the 60,000 hectare private game reserve on the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana Range with wonderful views across the plains below.

The lodge comprises of 12 air-conditioned chalets, attractively built out of rock and thatch. Each chalet has an en suite bathroom with a flush toilet, bath and shower. At the front of each chalet is a private viewing deck for afternoon reading if you're not inclined to take a dip in the swimming pool to cool off. The main lounge, bar and dining areas are also under a thatched roof with a large deck extending out front, overlooking the waterhole, which plays host to plenty of game from the surrounding area.

Within Ongava Private Game Reserve, one can take part in nature walks, night drives and other activities. Rhino tracking on foot is one of the most popular activities.

Either on the reserve or in Etosha, guests also have the chance to see elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, white and black rhino and all the plains games of Namibia including springbok, oryx and hartebeest.
