Day 1London

Fly from London to Johannesburg overnight

Day 2Johannesburg - Windhoek - Sossusvlei

Today you will fly from Jo`burg to Windhoek. On arrival you will be met and put onto a light aircraft to fly down to Sossusvlei. The Kulala Desert Lodge is the closest lodge to the dunes and has some wonderful views

Day 3Sossusvlei

Head into the dunes early this morning before the heat really begins to increase. The guided activities will take you in at first light so you will be some of the first people in the area. Both Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei are worth visiting as they offer very different perspectives. If you have the energy clamber up one of the dunes as you are then able to get more of a sense of perspective

Day 4The Skeleton Coast

This morning you will be taken back to the airstrip and be picked up by Schoemans for the spectacular flight up to Swakopmund and then into to the Skeleton Coast. Along the way you will stop for lunch along the beach and enjoy flights over the Ugab formations as well as some time to walk around.

Day 5The Skeleton Coast

Today you will be able to enjoy scenic flights along the Skeleton Coast as well as the roaring dunes. Later you will head up to the Leylandsdrift Camp which has the most stunning views.

Day 6The Skeleton Coast

You will enjoy a nature drive while trying to find desert adapted elephants, visit the Himba people and fly up north to explore the Serra Cafema area and the Kunene River.

Day 7The Skeleton Coast - Etosha National Park

Today you will enjoy a boat trip down the Kunene and you will have the opportunity to walk and climb some small peaks on the Angola side. You will depart after lunch and be dropped off at Ongava Lodge. This is a beautiful property on the borders of Etosha. Set in a private concession on the edge of Etosha this lodge consistently provides some of the best wildlife sightings in the region

Day 8Etosha National Park

There are a number of activities that you can do from here. This includes excursions into Etosha, guided walks but arguably most interesting of all is the rhino tracking. It really is an exhilarating feeling as you quietly approach these amazing animals on foot.

Day 9Etosha National Park

Day 10Etosha National Park - Windhoek

Today you will be flown back to Windhoek where you will stay the night a conveniently located guesthouse.

Day 11Windhoek - Johannesburg

You will have some time to explore Windhoek before being transferred this afternoon to the airport for you flight to Johannesburg. From here you will connect with your overnight flight to Heathrow.
