Day 1London - Frankfurt
You will fly from London to Frankfurt and connect onto an overnight flight with Air Namibia to Windhoek.
On arrival at the airport you will meet your guide and group and set off to Sossusvlei, in southern Namibia. You will enjoy a spectacular drive stopping for a big picnic lunch. You will arrive in the late afternoon and be able to relax in camp.
In the morning you will visit the great dunes at Sossusvlei. There will be the opportunity to walk up the dunes, explore and take photographs. In the afternoon you will be able to enjoy activities on the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve, include nature walks, drives to scenic viewpoints.
You will notice a huge change in scenery as you move towards the coast, and the wonderful small town of Swakopmund. The Hansa Hotel is in a great location right in the centre of town.
You will go a private boat cruise allowing you to get up close to the birdlife and the playful seals. You can also watch the flamingos in the area, before lunch is served. You will have the afternoon free to explore Swakopmund. There are some great shops and lovely cafes in which to stop for some coffee and cake.
You will travel via the Cape Cross Seal Colony up to Damaraland. The camp is in a truly stunning setting. Activities include explorations on foot, by bike or 4x4 vehicles, viewing springbok, oryx and ostrich, and tracking the unique desert-adapted elephant.
You will drive to Palmwag Rhino Camp. This is a truly special area of the country and the predator population is the largest outside of the Etosha National Park with over 100 Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, Brown and Spotted Hyena. Bird life is prolific and diverse with most of Namibia`s endemic present. Welwitschia (ancient desert adapted plants) plants dot the plain in front of the camp.
Today you can go Rhino tracking on foot which is an experience not to forget. You will also be able to go on day and night nature drives.
You will head up to Etosha where you will be staying on the private Ongava Reserve. This area is rich in game and you will explore the reserve as well as enjoying game drives into Etosha.
You will spend the morning in Etosha enjoying the game viewing. You will drive around the game loops to waterholes and beside the great salt pan.
After breakfast you will board an amazing scenic flight out to the Skeleton Coast. You will be staying in the very remote Skeleton Coast Research Camp. This has an incredible place, hundreds of miles from anywhere. You will spend time exploring this fascinating environment.
You will have the day exploring the Skeleton Coast. You may go to see the seals at Cape Frio, spend time with Himba communities, walk in the desert or explore canyons.
A day exploring the Skeleton Coast. Today you might track desert-adapted game or walk along deserted beaches. There will be a large picnic lunch in a remote spot.
You will be flown back to Windhoek where your safari ends. Tonight you will fly back to Frankfurt with Air Namibia.
Day 15Frankfurt
On arrival into Frankfurt you will connect onto a flight to London, arriving home in the late morning.
