    A nomadic people, living in small settlements in remote northern Namibia, the Himba are one of Africa’s most interesting demographic groups. Largely unaffected by the modern world and highly photogenic in their distinctive dress, their society is based around cattle herding. An excursion to meet them feels uncommonly authentic and unforced.

Excursions in Namibia: Quadbiking

The guided trip is likely to cover the riverbed, gravel plains and the magical dune field from east to west.

Guests are transferred to the departure point where they have the choice of a manual quad bike or an automatic quad bike. The guide/instructors will ensure that everyone has a helmet and a pair of goggles on. Following that there will be a safety briefing and full instructions on how to operate the quad bike. Before you head out an environmental briefing will also be given.

The guided trip is likely to last 1 hours and cover the riverbed, gravel plains and the magical dune field from east to west.
