La Fontaine is beautifully positioned in a peaceful residential area just off Franschhoek's main street, overlooked by the surrounding mountains.

This large, early 20th century house, with white oat-wash walls and green shutters, is set back from the road, with a large fountain in its beautifully manicured front garden, and has been lovingly renovated with five en-suite bedrooms in the main house.

Each room with its wooden floors and high ceilings, has been individually furnished with an airy feel and their bathrooms have Victorian clawed baths.

Just off the rear courtyard, where breakfast may be enjoyed under the growing vines, there are four pool suites in peaceful garden surrounds that are also elegantly furnished and have en-suite bathrooms with showers.
