Day 1London
Your flight to Johannesburg departs this evening from London.
Arriving in Johannesburg a representative will be there to greet you, handover vouchers for your time in South Africa and answer any immediate questions that you may have. They will then escort you to the domestic check in for your flight to Durban.
In Durban you collect your hire car and make your way to the Midlands, filled with rolling countryside, stud farms and quaint towns.
Time to relax and take in the beautiful scenery or enjoy horse riding or fishing from your accommodation.
Enjoy walks, horse rides or simply relaxing in the pretty surroundings.
Departing the Midlands you drive the Battlefields. The drive will take approximately 3 and a half hours.
At the Battlefields the superb lecturers will bring the Anglo zulu wars of Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift to life. The tours are utterly riveting and will have you on the edge of your seat.
We would recommend having tours of the two main battlefields on separate days, so that you have time to relax in between and feel refreshed to take in all of the fascinating information!
You have the morning at leisure before you depart the Battlefields and drive to Johannesburg airport. At the airport you drop off your hire car and check in for your overnight flight back to the UK.
