Day by Day

Day 1London

You will depart the UK on your overnight flight to Cape Town.

Day 2Cape Town

You will be met on arrival by a representative from our ground agent, presented with your travel documents and transferred to your hotel to settle in. You may then want to take the rest of the day to discover the city on a tour.

Day 3Cape Town

Today you can explore Cape Town. You may like to take a trip to the top of Table Mountain, the views are spectacular.

Day 4Cape Town

You can spend the morning experiencing the warm hospitality of the people of the townships. In the afternoon you may like to take a picnic and stroll around Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, in the shadow of Table Mountain.

Day 5Cape Town

This morning your hire car will be delivered to your hotel and you can drive down to Cape Point, where the two oceans meet at the Cape Point lighthouse.

Day 6Cape Town - Franschhoek

After a short drive to the Winelands region you can take a walk through the streets of pretty Franschoek, with its boutique shops, cafes and restaurants.

Day 7Franschhoek

You can explore the vineyards under your own steam today. Alternatively you may like to book up a wine tour. We would recommend a private tour with Pietman Retief, a local expert on the Wine Region.

Day 8Franschhoek - Swellendam

Make your way through the Overberg to Swellendam to explore this little visited area.

Day 9Swellendam - Plettenberg Bay

Today you will experience the Garden Route in all of its beauty as you drive along the coastal route. This afternoon you will arrive at Plett with its beautiful beaches.

Day 10Plettenberg Bay

Spend today at the Tsitsikamma Forest making the most of the activities on offer in this area and the stunning surroundings. Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and the Elephant Sanctuary are definitely worth a visit whilst here.

Day 11Plettenberg Bay

Today you may like to take a boat trip to see some of the marine life: dolphins are often sighted here and there are seal colonies close by.

Day 12Plettenberg Bay - Port Elizabeth - Johannesburg - Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport- Nelspruit - Southern Sector - Kruger National Park

Drive to Port Elizabeth and drop off your hire car before boarding your flight to The Kruger National Park, via Johannesburg. You will be transferred to your lodge this afternoon.

Day 13Southern Sector - Kruger National Park

Day on safari from your lodge. There are plenty of guided activities which can be booked at your lodge.

Day 14Southern Sector - Kruger National Park

Another day to enjoy the fantastic game of the Kruger .

Day 15Southern Sector - Kruger National Park - Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport- Nelspruit - Johannesburg

Road transfer back to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. From here you will catch your overnight flight home.

Day 16London

Arrive back in the UK.
