Fregate Island
Frégate Island Resort has a peaceful and private atmosphere. There are seventeen luxury villas here, built on low cliffs above the sea.
Each villa is spacious and stylish with marble floors, four poster beds and elegant antique tables bursting with tropical flowers in smooth round vases, fresh fruit and tiny sculpted tortoises. There is art on the walls, billowing muslin drapes in the windows and every touch attended to. The en-suite bathrooms have sunken baths with views of the sea and outdoor showers fringed with hibiscus and fragrant frangipani. To top it all off there are large decks and your own private Jacuzzi. Thirteen of the villas have one bedroom, whilst the others include a presidential villa, a spa villa and two two bedroom villas ideal for families.
The resort takes much pride in the cuisine - there are a choice of two restaurants serving Creole and international cuisine, as well as bar, beach bar and a wine cellar. Meals are extremely flexible to suit you, allowing you to eat at whatever time you wish in a choice of locations including the tree house, yacht club, or on the beach.
There is plenty to do on Frégate including diving, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing, fishing and trips to other islands. Land-based activities include mountain biking, tennis, volleyball and badminton. There are also two swimming pools, a well equipped gym and the Rock spa which offers a range of treatments. A number of walking trails lead to the top of Mount Signal with stunning views and through the trees to seven private beaches. We recommend a minimum stay of five nights on Frégate, and once here, you won't want to leave.
