The Paradise Sun hotel is located at the end of Anse Volbert Beach.
There are 80 little bungalows in semi circles on lush green lawns along the beach front.
The hotel was affected by the Tsunami and has since been renovated. The rooms themselves are fairly small but very stylishly decorated with tasteful furnishings, a double or twin bed, air conditioning and en-suite bathroom.
The Paradise Sun is a good hotel for those wanting to do lots of activities. There is a swimming pool, volley ball court and water-sports centre where you can arrange snorkel trips to the island of St Pierre and dive trips further afield.
There are two restaurants, one on the beach where lunch and large buffet dinners are served and one overlooking the swimming pool where you can enjoy breakfast looking out at the sun rise over the sea. Every evening there is a small band.
The hotel is excellent for families as the swimming is in a sheltered bay and there is lots for the children to do.
