Day 1London - Dubai
You will fly from London to Mahe on an overnight flight via Dubai.
On arrival in Mahe you will board a short flight to Praslin. A private car will take you from the airport to the pretty port where you will board a small ferry to La Digue. La Digue is a very beautiful island with a unique atmosphere. Its beaches are some of the most photographed in the world and as soon as you arrive you will reach for your camera, it's simply stunning. To travel around the island your choices are bicycle of ox-cart, either is great fun. Arriving in La Digue you'll be taken the very short distance to your hotel. You have the afternoon to relax on your veranda or on the beach.
We recommend hiring a bicycle to explore La Digue (as there are no cars!). Bicycle hire is cheap and easy to arrange. You can cycle to all points of island with ease. Putting your things in your bicycle basket you can choose where to go and set off at your own pace.
During your time on La Digue you are almost certain to want to visit Anse Source D'Argent, one of the most famous and beautiful beaches on the Seychelles. Despite its fame it is a quiet and totally unspoilt beach. You can relax in the shade of one of the giant boulders, take a swim in the sea or relax on the sand. Its also worth making the effort to cycle over to Petite Anse on the other side of the island, it's really beautiful and there is a great beach shack to eat at and have a nice cold drink. The next bay along is called Anse Cocos and is well worth the effort.
Today you will leave La Digue and head for the larger island of Praslin. A private car will take you to your hotel, L'Archipel. This boutique hotel is situated on a hillside overlooking a sandy beach. You can relax on your veranda, beside the pool or on the beach.
During your time on Praslin you can either relax or explore the island. There is lovely swimming off the L'Archipel beach and the water is invariably very warm!
One activity you may like to arrange is a private yacht charter around the Praslin coast. There are a number of deserted beaches which you can explore as well as some excellent snorkelling spots.

It is possible to hire a car for a day if you would like. We can recommend this as you can explore most of the island in a day, visiting the beautiful Vallee du Mai to walk in the rainforest and perhaps having lunch at a cafe beside the sea. We can give you route ideas and recommendations for lunch!
Praslin has the best of both worlds, where you can be as active or inactive as you want to be. The beaches are amazing and ideal to soak up some sunshine and enjoy the warm ocean. It is also a lovely island to explore and is also surrounded by lots of smaller islands which can be easily reached.

You will be collected by private car and taken to the tiny airport for your flight to Mahe. You will connect onto an overnight flight to the UK with Emirates, via Dubai.
You will arrive in the UK in the mid morning.
