Take a trip from Mahe to Praslin. On Praslin you will be able to visit the Vallee de Mai , an extraordinary primeval forest and also a UNESCO World Heritage sight. It is home to 7,000 coco de mer palms as well as the rare black parrot.
From the Vallee de Mai you will proceed to Baie St Anne jetty for a boat trip across to La Digue. Here, you will be able to visit the coprah factory at L'Union, the old vanilla and cinnamon plantation. There also are some spectacular formations of granite boulders to be found on La Digue.
Lunch is served at a typical Creole restaurant. After lunch time will also be allocated for swimming on La Digue.
