    An evening cruise on the Zambezi in Livingstone and game viewing from Kafue’s Lufupa River are wonderfully relaxing, but best of all are the water based activities in the Lower Zambezi. Drifting slowly down river, observing elephants coming into drink as the sun goes down is one of the definitive African experiences.

    With night drives offered in all of the major national parks, Zambia is arguably the best destination in Africa to observe nocturnal wildlife. During the wet season up to 550 million litres of water cascades over the lip of the Falls each minute, offering an intensely photogenic experience. Zungulila is the latest addition to the Bushcamp properties. The tented camp is set on a raised knoll overlooking a plain, with the Kapamba River snaking across one side of the plain into the distance.

Zungulila Bushcamp

Zungulila is the latest addition to the Bushcamp properties. The tented camp is set on a raised knoll overlooking a plain, with the Kapamba River snaking across one side of the plain into the distance. There is a natural spring found beneath the plain where animals may come to drink at the small pools below as you watch from your private veranda.

Each of the tents is spacious and comfortable, ensuite bathrooms with outdoor showers with hot and cold running water. You have your own small private plunge pool, which is filled for you when you return from your safari either with refreshing cold water in the summer or hot water in the winter. The main area of the camp is tastefully designed with colonial influence, and a maximum of only six to eight guests in camp at any given time.
