Day 1London
You will take an overnight flight from London to Lusaka.
On arrival in Lusaka you will clear customs and collect your luggage before taking your domestic flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe. You will be met at Mfuwe Airport by your driver-guide and open 4WD safari vehicle and driven to Kapani Lodge, set on an ox-bow lake, close to the banks of the Luangwa River, for a four night stay. You will have time for an afternoon game drive. Please note drinks are payable locally.
You will have morning and afternoon game viewing activities from Kapani Camp. You will have the choice of game drives in open 4WD safari vehicles or walking safaris with a guide and armed guard, as well as night drives. Norman Carr employ some of the most knowledgeable, experienced guides in the South Luangwa so you are guaranteed some excellent sightings.
Another packed day of game viewing from Kapani Lodge. The bar at Kapani is based next to a lagoon, so there will be exciting viewing opportunities, be it birding, watching a monitor lizard or something larger without even having to leave the comfort of the lodge.

Today you will be transferred from Kapani to the wild Kakuli bushcamp located deep in the national park. At this time of year the camp is only accessible by boat and so all your game viewing will be done on the river.
Day of game viewing from Kakuli. This is a fabulous time of year for birdwatching however you are also likely to see plenty of game around the river.
Day of safari activities from Kakuli.
Today you will be transferred by boat and 4x4 vehicle back to the entrance of the national park and on to Mfuwe Airport. You will fly to Lusaka where you will be met and transferred to Pioneer Camp for your overnight stop.
Early this morning you will return to Lusaka Airport and check on to your return day flight to London.
