Day by Day

Day 1London

Fly from London to Lusaka with British Airways overnight.

Day 2Lusaka Airport - Kasanka National Park

You will meet with Rod your guide and the rest of your group on arrival. From Lusaka its a light aircraft flight up to Kasanka National Park where you will be staying for the next two nights. Explore the park this afternoon with the group.

Day 3Kasanka National Park

Day of game viewing and bird watching in Kasanka National Park.

Day 4Kasanka National Park - Bangweulu Wetlands

Today its a short light aircraft hope to the Bangweulu Swamps area, famous for its birdlife particularly the Shoebill Stork. This afternoon you will go on a boat excursion in the wetlands.

Day 5Bangweulu Wetlands

Day to explore the Bangweulu Swamps, search for the storks by boat in the morning and then take a game drive on the Cikuni Floodplains in the afternoon and evening.

Day 6Bangweulu Wetlands - Shiwa N'gandu

Fly to the Shiwa Ng'andu Estate in North-West Zambia, where you will be stayed in the historia Impandala House on the estate. Explore the Manor House this afternoon and learn about its history.

Day 7Shiwa N'gandu

A day to explore the Estate with Rod, there is some fascinating birdlife here. You will visit the hot springs at Kapishya and take an evening boat trip on the lake.

Day 8Shiwa N'gandu - South Luangwa National Park

Fly to the South Luangwa National Park, renowned for its excellent game viewing. You will be staying in a private house on the edge of the national park. Take an afternoon/evening game drive.

Day 9South Luangwa National Park

Full day of game viewing in the South Luangwa. Rod will take the group to some of the more remote and quiet areas where you should enjoy some excellent sightings.

Day 10South Luangwa National Park - Mfuwe - Lusaka

Time for a last game drive this morning before flying back to Lusaka this afternoon. You will be transferred to Pioneer Camp where you will have dinner together this evening.

Day 11Lusaka - Lusaka Airport

Its an early start today with your transfer back to the airport for your onward flight home. You land in the UK on this day.
