Of the twenty or so guestrooms, the Forest Spa suites are the most luxurious with a terrace or balcony overlooking the lake, encircled by acres of sweeping lawns and forest.

The lodge’s renowned restaurant, rated in some surveys as amongst the best hotel restaurant in the world, overhangs the lake, with an extensive cellar offering the finest of the region’s wines.
