You will depart London onboard your overnight flight to Australia, touching down in Singapore en route to Perth.
Day 2Singapore - Perth
You will arrive into Perth this afternoon and make your way to your accommodation in the centre of Perth. Spend the rest of your day recovering from your flight and exploring your surroundings.
Spend today at leisure taking in the highlights of Perth. You may wish to wander through Kings Park; explore the cosmopolitan suburb of Fremantle; or, perhaps spend the afternoon watching the sun set over one of the city's famous surfing beaches.
This morning you will collect your hire car and drive south to the beautiful region of the Margaret River, an area famous for its vineyards and long stretches of white sandy beaches. After checking into your guesthouse the rest of your afternoon is at leisure.
Spend today at leisure in the Margaret River region perhaps sampling some of the wonderful wines that the area produces.
You will return to Perth this morning in time for your flight to Adelaide where you will spend the afternoon at leisure.
Spend today at leisure in the cosmopolitan city of Adelaide, perhaps taking a stroll through the Botanic, taking breakfast in the bustling city markets or making your way to the seaside.
You will collect a hire-car this morning and travel north out of Adelaide to the stunning Flinders Ranges. Here you will get a true taste of the South Australian outback and sample some of the state's beautiful landscapes.
Today you will have a full day, four-wheel drive tour where you will explore some of the magnificent volcanic gorges and rugged scenery that the Flinders Ranges are famous for. Your guide will help you try and spot some of some of the region's rare wildlife and birds as well as introducing you to the fascinating history of the Flinders.
This morning you will take a short scenic flight and witness the Flinders Ranges from the air, a truly breathtaking experience which allows you to put the enormity of the landscapes into perspective. Following your flight you will return to Adelaide for a further night's accommodation.
You will make your way to the airport this morning in time for your flight to Kangaroo Island, an island famous for its abundance of Australian wildlife and its beautiful scenery. On arrival on Kangaroo Island you will join the first of your two small group tours on the island - today focusing on the magnificent landscapes of the remote west. A gourmet picnic lunch is included today. This evening you will be taken back to your accommodation where you will enjoy dinner at your accommodation.
After breakfast you will be picked up for another day of touring and you will once again spend the day criss-crossing the island, taking in its highlights and its abundance of wildlife. Once again you will enjoy a gourmet picnic and return to your accommodation late in the afternoon.
This morning you will fly back to Adelaide where you will pick up your hire car and drive across the Victorian border to the Grampians National Park, where you will spend the next couple of nights.
Spend today at leisure in the Grampians National Park taking advantage of some of the great walking opportunities available.
From the Grampians you will head towards the southern coast of the country and the small town of Port Fairy where you will spend the night.
This morning you will start your journey along the Great Ocean Road, today driving past the iconic Twelve Apostles on your way to Apollo Bay.
You will spend today at leisure in Apollo Bay, perhaps relaxing by the waterfront or exploring the nearby Otway National Park.
From Apollo Bay your will continue your journey east to the cosmopolitan city of Melbourne, the perfect place to finish your time in the country. Here you will spend two nights.
Spend today at leisure in Melbourne - exploring its windy cobblestone streets by foot; its beautiful botanical gardens and its great array of shops, cafes and restaurants.
After a morning at leisure you will make your way to the airport in time for your flight back to London.
