Day 1London
You will depart London onboard your overnight flight to Sydney.
Upon arrival in Sydney you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the city centre. Spend the rest of your day at leisure in Sydney exploring your hotel surroundings.
Spend today at leisure exploring the highlights of Sydney - perhaps taking in a cruise on the harbour, a tour of the Sydney Opera House or, even, a walk over the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
You will spend a final day at leisure in Sydney today and have the opportunity to explore further afield and perhaps take in one of the city's famous surf beaches, its beautiful Botanic Gardens, or even a day trip into the nearby Blue Mountains which are only an hour and a half out of the city centre.
Day 5Sydney - Uluru/Ayers Rock
This morning you will make your way to the airport in time for your domestic flight to Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the Red Centre. Here you will be collected and transferred to your hotel and you will spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Day 6Uluru/Ayers Rock
You will wake early this morning in time for the spectacle that is sunrise over the Kata Tjuta (Olgas) ranges, and enjoy this with a small group tour of only 12-16 passengers. After time marvelling at this magnificent icon you will return to your hotel to relax for a few hours before being collected again for another memorable desert experience, the world-famous Uluru (Ayers Rock). Here you will once again learn of the history and aboriginal significance of this iconic site, walk amongst the folds of the magnificent rock and later witness a memorable desert sunset.
After a morning at leisure you will be transferred back to the airport in time for your onward flight to Cairns, in tropical north Queensland. Upon arrival you will make your own way to the beach town of Palm Cove, just north of Cains where you will spend the next three nights.
Today you will take a day trip to the world-famous Great Barrier Reef and spend your day snorkelling, diving (optional extra) or just relaxing and taking in the marine life from the boats underwater observatory. You will return to your hotel late this afternoon.
Once again this morning you will be collected, this time by your small group tour for your trip to the Daintree Rainforest. During the day your interpretive ranger-guide will take you 'croc spotting', walking along boardwalks that wind their way through the magnificent ancient forest and to Cape Tribulation where rainforest meets the reef. You will return to your hotel late in the afternoon.
This morning you will return to Cairns where you will pick up a hire-car and head inland, away from the tourist crowds and towards the cool rolling hills of the Atherton Tablelands. Upon arrival you will check into your guesthouse and spend your afternoon at leisure.
Spend today at leisure exploring the region and perhaps taking in some of the area's stunning waterfalls and walking trails.
This morning you will return to the Cairns Airport in time for your return flight to London.
Day 13London
You will land in London this morning where your arrangments where will conclude.
