Day 3Melbourne - Hobart

On arrival into Hobart Airport you will be met by a private transfer and taken to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4Hobart

A full day at leisure in Hobart. If it is a clear day it is worth driving to the top of Mount Wellington for great views across the city and south of the island.

Day 5Hobart - Strahan

Collect your hire car from the city rental office and drive to the west coast today which is in stark contrast to the east and is much more rugged. Your accommodation is in the small town of Strahan.

Day 6Strahan - Cradle Mountain

Take a cruise this morning to explore the wildlife and history of the Gordon River. This afternoon drive to Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park.

Day 7Cradle Mountain

Explore the walks of the national park today at your leisure taking in the breath taking views of Cradle Mountain. The Devils@Cradle is a great opportunity to meet a Tasmanian Devil and learn more about these endangered creatures.

Day 8Cradle Mountain - Launceston

Drive across the northern countryside of Tasmania to Launceston. The Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm is a short detour to the north of Deloraine and serves a delicious lunch in a pretty setting.

Day 9Launceston

You could have a restful day getting to know Launceston and maybe walk Cataract Gorge or drive further afield and discover the wineries of the Tamar Valley.

Day 10Launceston - Freycinet National Park

Continue your drive across the north of the state today to the east coast and Freycinet National Park. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 11Freycinet National Park

Explore the Freycinet Peninsula with opportunities for spotting dolphins, albatross and other wildlife. Take some time to see Wineglass Bay from the view point to get the full effect of the shape.

Day 12Freycinet National Park - Hobart - Melbourne - Singapore

Drive back to Hobart today. You may be interested in breaking the journey in the historical village of Richmond. Return your hire car at the airport before boarding your flight to the mainland where you will connect with your international flight.
