South Pacific culture in NZ festival18492719Travellers making a trip to the South Pacific this March should consider visiting the Western Springs Stadium for the Pasifika Festival.

Taking place in Auckland, New Zealand, the festival celebrates the culture of the South Pacific including art, music, culture, lifestyle and traditional food.

An open air concert is scheduled to open the event with the Polynesian culture being at the centre of the entertainment.

A total of 140,000 visitors are attracted to the main festival and are all spoilt for choice with over 300 food and craft stalls to keep them entertained.

The festival incorporates all the symbols of spiritual significance including members of the family, the life-giving sun, the trochus shell and male and female elephants.
