The Museum Hotel is a unique and privately owned hotel, ideally located just over the road from the Te Papa Museum and the waterfront, just minutes walk from the diverse shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife that Wellington has to offer.
The hotel is comprised of two separate sections; the older wing at the front enjoys the better harbour views, while the newer rooms in the residence wing are more contemporary but look out over the city.
Each of the apartments is spacious and well-appointed, enjoying quality furnishings and great kitchen and laundry facilities. Every communal area features individual artworks, many of which are for sale, and all of which have a story behind them.
The hotel has its own restaurant and bar which also takes advantage of the harbour views, and guest facilities include a gym, pool and sauna.
