Depart London today for New Zealand.

Day 3Auckland - Kerikeri - Paihia & The Bay of Islands

On arrival in Auckland you will be met by our representatives and have a private transfer to the domestic terminal for your flight to the Bay of Islands. Once in Kerikeri you pick up a hire car and make your way to your accommodation.

Day 4Paihia & The Bay of Islands

This morning you join a Dolphin Eco-Encounter cruise which will take you out in to the bay to look for dolphins. There is also the option to swim if you're feeling energetic on the day.

Day 5Paihia & The Bay of Islands - Auckland

Make your way to Auckland today and explore the vibrant waterfront.

Day 6Auckland

Today you take the day trip to the fantastic Tiritiri Matangi wildlife & bird sanctuary where you will learn all about native New Zealand birds and enjoy some time to explore this untouched island.

Day 7Auckland - Coromandel Peninsula

Make your way to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula today.

Day 8Coromandel Peninsula

Today you will enjoy a trip with renowned nature guide, Kiwi Dundee. You will visit some of the Coromandel's most scenic spots, and look for the native birdlife.

Day 9Coromandel Peninsula - Rotorua

Make your way to Rotorua, the thermal centre of New Zealand. Here you can see bubbling mud-pools, steaming lakes and impressive geysers. This evening you will experience the Mitai cultural evening, and take an evening trip into Rainbow Springs where you have the chance to see kiwi.

Day 10Rotorua - Wellington

Make your way down to Wellington today, and soak up the atmosphere of the capital.

Day 11Wellington

Take a trip out to Zealandia today, a superb nature reserve just outside the city. There is a fully interactive information centre, and endless walking trails through native bush for you to explore - the reserve is home to plenty of native species which had originally been wiped out from the mainland.

Day 12Wellington - Picton & The Marlborough Sounds - Kaikoura

Journey across the Cook Strait and through the picturesque Marlborough Sounds today, looking out for dolphins and seals as you cruise through the tranquil waters. Drive south to Kaikoura, famed for its abundant marine life.

Day 13Kaikoura - Christchurch

This morning you join the Whale Watch trip, departing from the Whale Way Station in Kaikoura. You will hopefully encounter the majestic sperm whales, as well as dolphins, albatross and seals, all of which make these waters their home.

Day 14Christchurch

At leisure in Christchurch. You might like to visit the educational Antarctic Centre.

Day 15Christchurch - Dunedin

Make your way down to Dunedin today, and you might like to stop for a break at the fascinating Moeraki Boulders, just north of Palmerston.

Day 16Dunedin

You join a wildlife cruise today that will allow you to see the fantastic wildlife of this area in its natural environment. The trip includes a visit to the yellow-eyed penguin colony, an extremely rare species, where you can get very close to the penguins via some specially designed underground walkways.

Day 17Dunedin - Invercargill - Stewart Island

Today you make your way to Invercargill and take a short flight over to Stewart Island, a pristine island which is mostly national park.

Day 18Stewart Island

Today you have a full-day tour of Ulva Island with a knowledgeable local guide, on which you will learn all about the resident fauna and flora.

Day 19Stewart Island - Invercargill - Te Anau

You return to Invercargill by light aircraft today then make your way to Te Anau.

Day 20Te Anau

Today you take a scenic journey to Milford Sound. The sounds in Fiordland have a unique eco-system, and accompanied by highly knowledgeable guides you will learn all about this fragile environment and its inhabitants.

Day 21Te Anau - Queenstown

Make your way to Queenstown for the night.

Day 22Queenstown - Auckland

You fly from Queenstown to Auckland today, then on to London.

Day 23London

Arrive home. Arrangements conclude here.
