Depart from London on your international flight to Auckland.

Crossing the international dateline - in flight.

Day 3Auckland - Kerikeri - Paihia & The Bay of Islands

On arrival in Auckland you will be met by one of our representatives and given any necessary documentation for your trip. You will be transferred to the domestic terminal for your connecting flight to Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands. On arrival in Kerikeri collect your rental vehicle from the airport depot and make your way to your accommodation in Paihia.

Day 4Paihia & The Bay of Islands

Day at leisure in the Bay of Islands. Take in a trip to the historically important Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and explore the intricately carved Marae there.

Day 5Paihia & The Bay of Islands - Kauri Coast

Make your way from the Bay of Islands to the Kauri Coast, and in the evening explore the mystical Waipoua Forest with a local Maori guide.

Day 6Kauri Coast - Auckland

Continue south to Auckland today.

Day 7Auckland

Enjoy a day to explore Auckland, including an Urban Maori tour with an excellent local guide.

Day 8Auckland - Rotorua

Today make your way to Rotorua, and in the evening you will enjoy a traditional Maori cultural evening and hangi (feast).

Day 9Rotorua - Napier & Hawkes Bay

Journey out to Napier, and the Hawkes Bay wine region today.

Day 10Napier & Hawkes Bay

To give you a flavour of the region take a Food, Wine and Culture tour with an excellent local operator today.

Day 11Napier & Hawkes Bay - Wellington

Finish the journey south by heading to Wellington, and drop off your rental vehicle. Relax and enjoy the city.

Day 12Wellington

Today take a trip to the excellent national museum, Te Papa. Also enjoy a half-day tour with Flat Earth, who will introduce you to some of the city's hidden Maori treasures.

Day 13Wellington - Auckland

Make your way out to the airport today for your flight to Auckland, where you connect with your international flight home.
