    Canada enjoys a busy schedule of festivals and events, the majority of which take place during the summer months. Perhaps the most well-known of all the annual events is the Calgary Stampede, a ten-day festival which takes place in the second week of July. Dating back to 1912, the event showcases the area’s Wild West roots, with chuck-wagon races, a rodeo, bands, dancing and exhibitions.

The Lake Louise Inn is a modern mountain resort, nestled in a picturesque eight acre setting near the Pipestone River.

Situated in five buildings, the 247 tastefully appointed guest rooms offer something to fit every style and budget.

Amenities at the resort include a heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpools, steam room, gift shop, games room and laundry facilities. In addition there are several restaurants and dining options including an excellent pizza restaurant, and the tea cottage which serves afternoon tea and scones.

The village of Lake Louise is just a five minutes drive away whilst the lake itself is four kilometres away.
