    Canada enjoys a busy schedule of festivals and events, the majority of which take place during the summer months. Perhaps the most well-known of all the annual events is the Calgary Stampede, a ten-day festival which takes place in the second week of July. Dating back to 1912, the event showcases the area’s Wild West roots, with chuck-wagon races, a rodeo, bands, dancing and exhibitions.

The hotel is luxuriously appointed and its waterfront restaurants and lounge provide an award-winning selection of West Coast Cuisine overlooking Vancouver's magnificent Harbour, Coastal Mountains and Stanley Park.

The Deluxe Harbour View rooms offer unobstructed views of the picturesque waterfront and beautiful North Shore Mountains and Stanley Park. The rooms are west facing and so provide beautiful sunset views. Premier Rooms are ideally situated on the corner of the building and so offer north-westerly floor to ceiling views overlooking the Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains. At 450sq ft in size, the additional space affords the luxury of a small seating area, offering spectacular views of the cruise ships and float planes gliding in and out of the harbour.

City Suites include a separate King bedroom and a living room that has a pull-out double sofa bed and a large bathroom made of marble. Bayview Suites are larger again at about 850sq ft and boast beautiful westerly views. The suites include a spacious Italian marble en-suite bathroom, walk in closet, living room with sofa bed, and dining table. Aside from the master bedroom, this suite can become a two or three bedroom suite connecting to either a room with two double beds or one king. Each connecting room features separate full bathrooms, entertainment unit and of course, views overlooking the harbour.
