Day 1London - Calgary

Fly from the UK to Calgary and on arrival make your own way to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore the city.

Day 2Calgary - Waterton Lakes National Park

Collect your hire car from downtown Calgary and drive south along the Cowboy Trail to Waterton Lakes National Park. The afternoon is free to go walking or explore the small town of Waterton.

Day 3Waterton Lakes National Park

Spend a day discovering the beauty of Waterton Lakes National Park. It is recommended to take a leisurely cruise on the lake to the USA border, looking out for moose and bald eagles.

Day 4Waterton Lakes National Park - Cranbrook

Drive from Waterton Lakes National Park into British Columbia. This route takes you through wonderful mountain scenery and past small historic towns to Cranbrook.

Day 5Cranbrook - Kootenay National Park

Your drive today is filled with spectacular mountain vistas as you wend your way between the Rocky and Purcell Mountains. You may wish to stop at the delightful small town of Radium Hot Springs before arriving at Kootenay National Park.

Day 6Kootenay National Park

Spend a full day in Kootenay National Park. There are many activities available and some wonderful scenery to explore. You may wish to take a picnic and hike to a beautiful mountain lake or try fishing, mountain biking or kayaking.

Day 7Kootenay National Park

Spend another full day relaxing amidst the mountains of Kootenay National Park.

Day 8Kootenay National Park - Canmore

Drive from Kootenay National Park through Banff National Park to the small town of Canmore. You may wish to stop and explore the shops of Banff en route or take the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain.

Day 9Canmore

Spend a full day exploring the iconic scenery of Banff National Park or trying some of the many available activities.

Day 10Canmore - Calgary

The morning is free for last minute sightseeing or shopping before driving to Calgary Airport to drop off your hire car prior to boarding your homeward flight.

Day 11London

Arrive back into Heathrow this morning.
