Head, by ferry, across the Bay of Fundy to New Brunswick with abundant wildlife and famous tidal bore. Cross the 13 kilometre long Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island with its long beaches and literary associations, before returning to Nova Scotia to spend some time exploring the stunning Cabot Trail and historic Louisbourg.
