Fathom Five National Marine Park lying just off-shore is renowned for it's pretty little islets such as Flowerpot Island and Bears Rump Island.
Water-based activities
The waters here, between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, are crystal clear and are home to several wrecks which make for unsurpassed diving, snorkelling and viewing by glass-bottom boat.
The mainland's Bruce Peninsula National Park is a delightful area for walking and kayaking and has lovely views across boulder-strewn beaches and out across the lake.
During the summer season there are regular ferries from Tobermory to South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island which offer a great way to continue exploring.
