    Canada enjoys a busy schedule of festivals and events, the majority of which take place during the summer months. Perhaps the most well-known of all the annual events is the Calgary Stampede, a ten-day festival which takes place in the second week of July. Dating back to 1912, the event showcases the area’s Wild West roots, with chuck-wagon races, a rodeo, bands, dancing and exhibitions.

Park Place Inn is a small, comfortable hotel nestled in the heart of downtown Jasper and within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants, shops and nightlife. Your comfort is of paramount importance here and each of the 14 rooms offers oriental carpets, marble bathroom, thick bathrobes, plump pillows, and goose down duvets. In addition there is also a bar with fridge, stocked with tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, telephone with data-port, heritage style furnishings and art, and individual climate control. Some rooms have a jacuzzi bath in the bedroom.

The inn also features limited secure underground parking and a gift shop. Although the property does not have its own restaurant, there are plenty of dining choices within a few minutes' walk. For those on longer stays, there is a large laundrette just down the road from the hotel.
