Day by Day

Day 1London - Guatemala City - Antigua

International flights to Guatemala City via the USA. On arrival you will transfer to the lovely colonial city of Antigua an hour away.

Day 2Antigua

This morning enjoy a walking tour of the beautiful colonial city of Antigua

Day 3Antigua

At leisure to further explore Antigua yourselves.

Day 4Antigua - Lake Atitlan

This morning you will be transferred to the awe-inspiring Lake Atitlan.

Day 5Lake Atitlan

At leisure at Lake Atitlan to relax, enjoy the stunning views and explore the highland villages dotted round the lake.

Day 6Lake Atitlan

At leisure at Lake Atitlan.

Day 7Lake Atitlan - Guatemala City - Flores - El Petén

Transfer to Guatemala City for your flight to Flores, via the Solola market, where you will have time to explore and get an insight into the locals absorbed in their weekly shop. On arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge.

Day 8El Petén

Take a shared tour of the spectacular Mayan site of Tikal buried deep in the jungle with your guide from the lodge.

Day 9El Petén - Black Rock River

Transfer across the border in to Belize to your hotel in the Mountain Pine Ridge area.

Day 10Black Rock River

At leisure to explore the area yourselves or book local excursions such as to the mayan ruins at Caracol or Xunantunich, canoeing in Barton Creek Cave, adventure-caving at Actun Tunichil Muknal, wildlife walks, horse-riding or river-tubing.

Day 11Black Rock River - Belize City - Ambergris Caye

Transfer by road back to Belize city where you will take a light aircraft flight to Ambergris Caye and on to your accommodation.

Day 12Ambergris Caye

At leisure on Ambergris Caye to snorkel, dive, take boat tours or just relax.

Day 13Ambergris Caye

At leisure on Ambergris Caye.

Day 14Ambergris Caye - Belize City

You will be transferred back to the airstrip for your flight back to Belize City to connect on to your international flight to the UK via the USA.

Day 15London

Arrive in the UK.
