Indirect flight from London to San Jose where you will be met at the airport for a private transfer to the wonderful El Silencio Lodge in the heart of the cloudforest. All meals included in your stay.

Day 2El Silencio Lodge

A day at leisure at El Silencio; your `eco-concierge` will be able to suggest activities but there are some lovely trails to walk and a wonderful spa if you need some r and r!

Day 3El Silencio Lodge - Arenal Volcano

Private transfer to Arenal Volcano - the most active volcano in Costa Rica. Rumbling and steaming on a clear day this is a magnificent sight! This afternoon take a private tour in to the Arenal Volcano National Park and experience the old lava flows before visiting some fabulous thermal springs for a dip in their soothing waters. Dinner is included.

A private excursion to the Arenal Hanging Bridges for a different perspective of the rainforest as you walk up high amongst the tree canopy and spot birds.

Day 5Arenal Volcano

Today travel on the Rio Frio river by motor-boat to see wildlife such as capuchin and spider monkeys, caiman, sloth and numerous river birds.

Transfer from one thermal area to another - Arenal Volcano to Rincon de La Vieja through stunning scenery.

At leisure to take optional excursions such as zip-lining, horse-riding, quad-biking, eco-tours, bird-watching or hiking in the Rincon de La Vieja national park.

Private transfer to Liberia airport for your flight to Punta Islita on the Nicoya Peninsula where you will be met and driven to this beautiful cliff-top hotel.
